The story is well interpreted with fresh and creative designs that contain a good dose of humor and communication. The section leaves the classic appearance to approach the world more children, more elementary, but without taking anything for granted. The illustrator used a special technique that combines the knowledge of the design manual with the modern computer, without affecting the poetic nature of the story but rather to reinforce it (do caso a diversi elementi come: il sacco di yuta di Giada, le cornici dei quadri in camera, la carta da parati e la vecchia foto).
Elemento ricorrente della storia è il leone-astuccio, pieno di matite e penne colorate. Il leone è sempre presente nella vita di Giada (quando scrive, sogna, pensa e incontra), egli si anima e l’accompagna durante la vicenda fino ad osservarla mentre si allontana con il suo nuovo amico, pronta ad affrontare il futuro, più forte e sicura di se.
Le due autrici, padovane, Valeria Tassinari (testo)e Sara Zanella (illustrazioni), hanno creato il loro primo libro per bambini. Un incontro nato casualmente ma che ha portato fortuna e stimolo creativo ad entrambe. Le due giovani hanno pensato to become an integral part of the book, the creativity of the child who reads it, providing it with a coloring page and a delightful song that turns the story in music, becoming an instrument of the player that can play and sing the words.
